Simple rods may work fine, but if you have the money and you are serious about your sport, then why not take a look at the top of the line rods that have hit the market in 2008. Maybe the best rod on the market today is the Berkley Tactix. This rod is constructed with graphite and chromium parts which make for a very strong and lightweight rod.
